    Following the recent review of the Playground Strategy, Council is now seeking the community's feedback on a proposed new Framework to shape the future of play provision within the City of Marion. The review has resulted in the new development of a new policy and the formalisation of service levels.

    We want you to tell us what you think about the way your playgrounds will be planned and developed in the future.

  • Oaklands Reserve

    The Oaklands Reserve is undergoing planning to create reserve designs which will include additional recreation facilities, play opportunities, pathway connections, picnic facilities and landscaping across the site.

    Improvements include Stage 2 of the Recreation Plaza and redevelopment of the Reserve to the southern end of the site.

    Community consultation will be undertaken on both projects on 29 April 2017.

    There are opportunities to contribute to this project through the Touch by Olivia Foundation.

    An opportunity exists for businesses and individuals to become involved and support this great project.

  • Lease review - Marion Leisure and Fitness centre Morphettville - Koorana Gymnastics Club Inc.

    City of Marion are planning to enter a lease with the Koorana Gymnastics Club Inc. The leased area will be the same as is currently leased to Koorana Gymnastics Club Inc.

    Council proposes to enter into a lease of the abovementioned property for a period of twenty one (21) years from 1 July 2016 until 30 June 2037.
