Background

A new playground that will see children of all abilities play side-by-side will be built at Hendrie Street Reserve, Park Holme.

A South Australian first, Inclusive Playspace is to be developed in partnership with the Touched by Olivia Foundation, State Government and the City of Marion.

Community members and project stakeholders were invited to provide feedback on the draft concept design through various consultation sessions over a 3 month period between November 2015 and February 2016. We thank those who provided feedback you can view the full report here.

A Final Design for the Hendrie Street Reserve Inclusive Playground has been developed and endorsed by Council.

Contributions have been committed by DPTI, Arts SA and Council. To date, Touched by Olivia Foundation have raised over $100, 000 from their fundraising efforts through donations and sponsorship.

Over $680, 000 has been secured but the project still has a shortfall of $280, 000.

Play equipment sponsorship opportunities
