Update - December 2024

At their General Council meeting on 22 October 2024, Council Members endorsed the Open Space Asset Management Plan 2024-2034. We would like to thank you for the feedback you provided that helped us shape the final plan.

Key feedback themes received during the consultation including council responses to them have been developed for your review.

Background

The purpose of the Open Space Asset Management Plan (AMP) is to improve council’s long-term strategic management of open space assets so that they effectively meet the required levels of service.

The plan defines the state of the Open Space assets and considers future requirements whilst balancing performance cost and risk. It provides the optimum lifecycle management and costs for the next 10 years.

The Open Space AMP is aligned with the Council Strategic Plan and informs the Long-Term Financial Plan. The plan is monitored annually to make any necessary cost adjustments and is comprehensively reviewed every 4 years.
