About

Marion 100 is a group of 100 local community members who collectively represent the diverse make-up of the City of Marion Council area. The group is drawn from residents and ratepayers who expressed an interest in being involved in a forum on community engagement.

Since the groups formation in 2021, members have provided ideas and feedback which have been key in shaping a number of very important pieces of work including:

  • Marketing and engagement strategy
  • Annual Business Planning
  • Brand Guidelines

Forums are held approximately 2 times per year and our last forum was held on 21 May 2024 and covered a variety of key council initiatives and plans.
