Background
The City of Marion is currently planning an upgrade of the playground and fitness facilities at Scarborough Terrace Reserve, Dover Gardens.
It is proposed that the new play equipment be moved to the Clacton Road side of the park, to be closer to the picnic space and toilets. The current play area will be utilised for a fitness node to make use of the existing shade sail.
Key items proposed in the upgrade include but are not limited to:
- new play equipment, both passive and active
- upgraded running track
- new fitness equipment
- refreshed picnic and BBQ facilities

Next steps
Following this consultation, feedback will be reviewed and, where possible, incorporated into the final upgrade design.
We will let you when the final design has been completed and publish it on this project page. Construction works are expected to commence in the 2025 - 2026 financial year.
