Strategic Plan 2024-2034 endorsed
At their meeting on Tuesday 24 September 2024, Council members endorsed the Strategic Plan 2024-2034.
Background
Back in late 2023 we asked you for your feedback on what was needed to make the City of Marion a better place, so that we could reflect this in the development of our 10-year Strategic Plan.
We received your feedback on:
- Your vision for the council area toward 2040
- What you thought the future challenges for the council area are
- What priorities council needs to focus on for the next 10 years

Draft plan development
This initial feedback received helped us to develop the draft Strategic Plan, which we released for community consultation in July 2024.
