Background
The City of Marion’s Urban Tree assets provide many benefits to our community. Our vision is to have streets and parks which are lined with mature, healthy trees that are a habitat for birds and other wildlife. The community values and appreciates the city’s trees for their shade, appearance, and the contribution they make to the environment.
Council is currently reviewing how it manages urban trees on council land and we are moving to a strategic approach that values trees as assets. We greatly value the community views and consider all feedback critical for the development of this Asset Management Plan.
We are aware of how important trees are to our community and we would like to get some further information to help shape the priorities over the next 10 years.
We welcome your comments and feedback and invite you to complete the survey below. The survey will close at 5pm on Friday March 24.
If you have any questions or comments you can speak to the project team at communityengagement@marion.sa.gov.au
