Parking Restrictions Trial - Consultation

In 2018 Council commenced a trial of parking restrictions on Edward Beck Drive. The trial involved the following changes:

  • Northern side - removal of the existing "No Stopping 8-9am 3-4:30pm Mon-Fri" parking restriction
  • Southern side – changing existing "No Parking 8-9am Mon-Fri" to "No Parking 8:30-9am 3-3:30pm Mon-Fri", and extending the parking restrictions further west to increase the kiss & go zone
  • There will be no changes to the existing yellow line markings ("No Stopping" parking restrictions)

The aim of the trial is to test if these changes will result in lower levels of parking and traffic congestion associated with school drop off and pick up times, and improve safety for all road users.
